Our Organisation
The Adelaide Camera Club has been serving photography enthusiasts in Adelaide, South Australia since 1899 and is the oldest club in South Australia.
We cater for all levels of expertise and encourage development in all aspects of photography via competitions, presentations, outings and workshops.
The club strives to provide a friendly and informal atmosphere and welcomes all visitors. We encourage you to visit one of our meetings and meet our members.
Aim
The aim of the club is to promote and encourage photographers in all aspects of the art and science of photography by cultivating and broadening the photographic interests of its members and offering access to a wide mix of photographic styles and interests.
The club has a strong tradition in a number of photographic genres, especially portrait photography, and regularly conducts workshops relating to these areas of special interest.
Location
Meetings are held at:
Nailsworth Community Centre, 31 D’Erlanger Ave, Collinswood SA
On and off-street parking is available.
Meeting Times
The Club meets every second, fourth and fifth (if there is one) Tuesday of each month (not including December).
Workshops, Monthly competitions and Special Trophy competitions are held on designated Tuesdays when applicable.
Doors open at 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start.
